Trees
Back to nature in this selection of images I began in 2020 during the pandemic lockdown. Previously I had observed the urban landscape for my subject matter. Iād always loved getting out and walking in nature but had resisted photographing it.
February 2025. It had been a few weeks since I had taken any images for myself. I was waiting for some inspiration, then I came upon this scene of old yewās and oaks in an ancient wooded valley in Somerset. I have given the photographs a muted sepia type feel, adding to the eerie atmosphere .
